About Us

• We are a grassroots group of citizens who share a vision of Richmond Hill as a sustainable, healthy and engaged community. Liveable Richmond Hill is a non-partisan, non-profit organization.
• We are affiliated with the Alliance for a Liveable Ontario which represents hundreds of organizations invested in building a truly liveable Ontario. Members include groups from agriculture, labour, urban planning, environment, academia, healthcare, housing, indigenous organizations, neighbourhood groups and many more representing hundreds of thousands of Ontarians. 

Making Richmond Hill a socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable community that builds on its strengths of being an attractive place to live, work, and play.   

• Through advocacy, research, communication, and action. 
• Working with our elected officials and advocating for urban planning policies that protect our environment and promote responsible growth.
• Providing information regarding policies at the Federal, Provincial and Municipal levels and their impact to Richmond Hill.
• Generating awareness and encouraging engagement and collective action within the community.
• Collaborating with organizations at all levels, local, provincial and beyond for positive change.
